Fishing

Action tail minnow bodies - on a 1/16 or 1/32 ounce jighead these lures catch crappie, bass, bluegill, and walleye.

White twister tails - we continually catch largemouth bass and crappie on these, often double rigged with an action tail minnow to see which gets the most bites.

Rapala standard minnows - when moving from place to place in the boat, we often troll these and catch crappie or bass.

• Little Cleo spoons – our favorite lures for pike. We’ve caught big northern on even the small, 1/4 ounce spoons, though we usually fish 1/2 to 1 ounce spoons.

• Pop-up shade canopy/shelter – These allow you to stay out of the hot sun and ride out rain showers without having to crawl in the tent or vehicle.
